Created for centuries in the pastures surrounding Mount Vezzena in northeastern Italy, this grana cheese (an Italian designation for hard, granular, finely grained cheeses aged for long periods) is slightly sharp and peppery. A flavorful addition to an antipasto platter or bowl of pasta.
